High School Mutiny

High School Mutiny

This versatile play is written for an all girl cast. It can be staged either in a theatre with scenery, or it can be presented more simply in any other space available in the school or community building. The play provides an opportunity for girls to act their own age and gender, instead of having to overcome the difficulties of portraying adults or characters of the opposite sex. There is an option for using extras in some of the scenes.

It is easy to direct, and there are drawings in the script suggesting ways of staging the scenes. The fashion show at the end can be an elaborate scene, or simply serve to wind up the play and provide an opportunity for a curtain call.
